OUR GOALS

CASA kids kids with the computer

CASA’s programs are designed to create a collaborative learning environment that uses educational multicultural and multilingual computer-based activities to achieve the following goals:

  • Narrow the digital divide, offering computer programs to children without access to technology.

  • Bridge the cognitive divide by fostering the critical thinking skills needed to truly capitalize upon this new access to technology now and beyond.

  • Cultivate ambition for higher education by integrating the university into the local projects.

  • Strengthen local communities as youth and adults actively participate in the facilitation and management of their own communities’ sites.

  • Support families with our distinct life-span approach serving all ages from preschoolers to parents, effectively bolstering opportunity for the entire family unit.
