OUR MISSION
The Center for Academic and Social Advancement (CASA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to academically and socially preparing children, adolescents, and adults to succeed in school and in the new realities of the 21st century.
This mission is the driving force behind CASA’s three major goals:
- to meet the educational needs of underserved youth,
- to strive to increase their representation in higher education, and
- to work towards socially integrating the families of these young people
Through collaborations with over twenty community groups and higher education entities such as the University of California, San Diego, CASA facilitates six programs in five sites throughout San Diego County in order to serve hundreds of children and families a year.
