TACKLE, Technology and Cultural Kumeyaay Literacy Education, at San Pasqual is another innovation of LCM that has been adapted to serve the children that live on the San Pasqual Indian Reservation. The program seeks to promote children’s literacy and cognitive development through bilingual bicultural activities that focus on the Kumeyaay language and culture. TACKLE serves 1st through 3rd grade children.
Hubs of Innovation, Beginning Fall 2009
